Our precious bible teaches us that God is faithful to us even when we are very unfaithful! In Genesis 22:10-14, Abraham is being obedient to God and takes his son on the mountain and builds an altar and lays his son there and as Abraham raises his hand to take the knife and slay his son that was given by God as a gift, God provided for him. God provided a ram in the bush for the sacrifice because He seen that Abraham was serious about obedience and trusting God with even such a terrible request! The angel of the Lord called unto him out of heaven! Called Abraham by NAME and said, “Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou anything unto him: for now I know that thou dearest God, thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me.” That is when Abraham looked behind him and seen the ram caught in the thicket by his horns. Abraham then sacrificed the ram and called the place Jehovah-Jireh! He is our provider! I am reminded of this so very often. What are you in need of today? Has God asked you to give up something to Him? What has He required of you that you have not moved in obedience to yet? Let Him have what He is asking. He is a good Father and He gives good gifts! James 1:17 Every good and every perfect gift comes from heaven…! Psalms 84:11 …No good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly. Matthew 7:11 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give what is good to those who ask Him! There are so many other good scriptures that also say similar things according to God’s love and care for us. Just ask Him! Make a demand on your Heavenly Father and watch Him come through! I had a great need today and I asked God to help me. Six months ago or more, the need began and today it was getting to the point that something had to happen. I finally put my faith on the line and made a move that I would never normally make and God came through so powerfully! Take you best step forward and watch Him meet you in your faith! Are you willing to believe that He has got you? Are you willing to trust Him in the valley? Let me share a little more scripture with you. In Genesis 22:16 which is a little further down than where we were reading from before, the Lord says to Abraham, 16-“By myself have I sworn, saith the Lord, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son: 17-that in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore…” Abraham became the Father of the nations that day because he trusted God with the most precious gift God gave him. the Bible goes on to say that all the nations of the earth be blessed because Abraham OBEYED God’s voice! MY MY MY! We have got to give up our mindsets of lack and poverty and know that if we walk uprightly before God and walk in obedience, we will see the goodness of the Lord! Psalm 27:13 David says that would have lost heart unless he believed that he would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. So take heart and know that you are a son/daughter of the Most High King and that He always answers and always takes care of those that are His! Your needs are met today and you are the apple of your Father’s eye! Lift your head and walk as if you are wearing that crown! You are HIS!
In closing, I just want to say that God is always near and He knows what is best for you. Trust Him and know that He is faithful in every way possible and will make sure to mold you into the fullness that He created you to walk in. Blessings
